What Causes Ebay to Recognize you and tie you to an old Ebay Account?
To create a new ebay account you will need to get:
To start off creating a new ebay account:
They can track:
IP ADDRESS DATA:
Keep a log of which Mac Address and IP Address you are using on which Ebay User Account and always revert back to the same Mac Address. To change the Mac and IP Address, all you do is log into your router (via internet explorer) and change the last two numbers on your mac address and save it. It will automatically change your IP Address. Make sure to record and save your new IP address and keep track of which ones were used on which accounts and never use them on another account of yours. Directions for changing router IP Address:
To check your IP address to see if it changed when you reset your mac address in the router, goto: The idea is if you have a router, you change that IP address. If you don't have a router, and connect directly to the internet (with a cable from wall) you change your computers IP address (you use these directions in that case): For your name, use a variation of your name or even a slight misspelling. Or use a DBA (Doing Business As) for you or your company or get a LLC to get past the hurdle. DBA or LLC:
Indiana DBA Form: https://forms.in.gov/Download.aspx?id=4900 I believe a DBA for your company is best route.. Only $15 to $30 bucks.. Create new email account. Gmail, etc. Gmail is best.. and make sure this setting to display images is OFF.. 'Ask before displaying external content' Technically, if you want a quick and dirty Ebay and Paypal account, any person's or company's name will do. However, for long term accounts, you want to play it right and use techniques mentioned above. Any address within the range of your IP address GPS location will do. However, an address you do not have access to will put you in a disadvantage. For the address, you could use a relatives address (assuming they have never been on Ebay) or you can rent an address: Or, just put in any local random address (that would not already have an ebay/paypal account). The problem is you do not have access to this address. Fedex maybe can print off return labels for you to put in the box for your customer, IF you go the route of using random addresses? Another option. Virtual address providers:

TWO NEW TECHNIQUES TO TAKE PAYMENTS ON EBAY:
TECHNIQUE ONE:
The idea is to disassociate your payment from Ebay..
You goto the preferences on Paypal, so as to make it so you accept or reject payments that come in.. (set them to "Ask Me", see on link):
To Get to Preferences:
1. Log into Paypal account. www.paypal.com
2. Click Profile Subtab on the right.
3. On the Profile Summary page, look at the "Selling Preferences" section.
4. Click on "Payment Recieving Preferences"
5. Modify relevant ones to "Ask Me" on if a payment comes in.
This allows you to accept or deny a payment, while it is at the doorstep of your account..
And from there, you deny the first payment. Then, you send them an invoice via Paypal (money request), and they will pay on the money request you sent.
Why do this?
Because you then disassociate your payment from Ebay.. That way.. Ebay can not micro-manage you on the sale.. You can tell your customer the reason is so that you can have it properly in your order system (and maybe put like a PO# on each invoice you send to customers)..
BENEFITS:
1. Outside Ebay system.. no ebay dispute system.. The ebay dispute system is slanted to buyers..
2. They can not track down the payment and micromanage you, if they don't like something. Less control in their hands.
3. You fall under the outside of ebay protection system, which is about 5 times better than the ebay one.. It is more towards sellers protection this way.. And you get much less disputes and win more of them...
A POSSIBLY RELEVANT TIP: If you are having troubles getting every payment to be "accept/deny" and want a way to make sure 100% come in this way, one way to do it is to change the currency on your Paypal account (to CAD, AUD, GBP) and then temporarily close out USD and set your "payment receiving preferences" to "Ask Me" on all foreign currencies. This will make all USD payments as "foreign" and will then have them as "Accept/Deny" when they come in.

TECHNIQUE TWO:
Maybe you already know or not, I am not sure.. But, you can use Google Checkout to get payments on ebay.. You just send invoices from Google to your customers..
So, it is the exact same technique as "Technique One" above, BUT, instead of sending a Paypal invoice, you send Google Checkout invoices..
So, you would deny the Paypal payment and then send an invoice from Google checkout instead..
That is the only difference..
TECHNIQUE THREE:
Sign up with a third party payment system. Then, in your Ebay auctions, click you accept "credit card" on the payment options section. When you click to go submit, you get a warning and a phone number to call to get approved for using a third party payment system. From there, you have to send them your approval paper work from the their party payment system, proving you have ability to do transaction through them. From there, you have to integrated it into Ebay' system.
