But with the same quality materials as our electric models. The NE-342 features a hot iron storage compartment. 42 inch ventilated steel ironing board and is available with an optional sleeve board. 42 inch Built In Ironing Center Features: Comes standard with birch veneer door. The user can adjust height of board after installation with a 4 inch differential between a maximum and minimum height when the swivel option is chosen. Ironing Board Cover and Pad are included. The interior has been painted a cool gray. Non-Electric - your power outlet is conveniently nearby. Unit can be provided with a left hinged door (without garment hook) upon request. Right hinge is standard. Piano hinge located on inside of door Surface Mounting: Unit may be surface mounted (unit extends approximately 6 7/8 inch into room) or recessed (unit extends approximately 3 inch into room) into any wall with standard 16 inch center studs. See table in specification sheet to determine desired ironing board height above the floor. Identify the location, cut and remove the drywall, slip the unit between the studs a nd attach it with the installation screws provided. All models are pre-assembled and ready to install. Fits between standard 2 x 4 studs on 16 inch centers. Install at the height of your choice, typically 34-36 inch from the floor. Pigtails are provided in bottom of wire way for hookup to supply line.
