Also, forgot to mention..

I can show you a very very precise way to figure the value of each item on every pallet list..  I showed a list in the last email.

I can show you how to goto ebay's history and figure the exact amount to set your price at, where you maximize your profit..

A technique I developed over time..  I basically set it at almost the highest it sold in the last two weeks and minus $10 or $15 bucks off ..

So, here is the search I would do:

Then, I would notice the first highest priced green number, which is $177.95.

Notice also on the list I showed in the last email, that the "Ext Cost" is $172.49..

Lets say you won this auction for 30%, so you would have paid:

$172.49 x 0.3 = $51.70 + $5 bucks for shipping costs = $57 basically..

I am seeing these prices as last weeks higher sales prices:

So, I would set the price at maybe $159.95 or $149.95 if you want to get rid of it faster..

Notice you make triple what you paid for it practically..

You pay $57 bucks and make $150 on the sale.. You can add an extra $5 bucks to the shipping costs to cover your ebay fees somewhat..

We are talking almost $100 profit..

Not bad for one sale..

Hi Michael,

$600 a month is definitely an attainable goal..  Its actually probably easier than you think.

The good news is I know the best suppliers.

My best supplier has domestics, fashion, along with electronics, hardware and more..  ALL name brand..

Basically, they are overstocks and returns from all the companies that partner with or are owned by Sears: Sears, JC Pennys, Banana Republic, etc..

So, items you see in JC Pennys or Sears are sold all the time on this website in auction format..

Here is the kicker..  The prices..  70% off the wholesale price..  Yes, that low..

You do NOT pay the "Ext Cost" shown on the right..  You end up paying about 30% of the "Ext Cost".

So, the "Ext Cost" is the Wholesale original price..  The bids start at 10% of the "Ext Cost".  Since there are several bidders, it can end as low as 20%, to as high as 40%..  Generally, in the 30% range is what the ending bid is at..

Well, I have bought probably about 40 pallets of items from these guys..  About $120,000 "Ext Cost" or probably about $40,000 in price I paid total..

AN EXAMPLE:

They sometimes have PS2's on the electronics pallets..  Not often, but sometimes..  They cost about $120 wholesale..  You would pay about $40 for each one on the pallet.. You can sell it on ebay for an easy $80 to $100..  More than double what you paid..

GETTING SIGNED UP:

Well, you have to have some sort of business, I believe, as they ask about this..  In some states you can do this rather easily by "Doing business under an assumed name" like in Michigan..  Starting a business is pretty easy, if you do not already have one..  I started mine back around early 2000.  I practically did the forms myself..  I had a CPA friend help..  There were only two forms I had to file and it costed me only about $100 or so to file them, if I recall correctly..  It was for a C-Corp also, which is basically a more official business.. For instance, Microsoft is a C-Corp..

So, to sign up with genco, you have to have some sort of business and you have to fax in some contract you sign.. Like 15 pages of contract, which repeats itself sort of..  Just sign and fax..

After this, they give you a username and password and you can see the "manifests" or lists of products..

Here is an example list..  Remember, you do not pay the "Ext Cost" shown on the right, but actually about only 30% of it... So, probably about $600 for the below..

The bid actually starts at 10% of the "Ext Cost".  So, if you are lucky, you can get it under 30% if no one else bids..  Pretty rare, but I do believe I have won a couple really cheap, like even under 20% before..

Not sure if you can understand all the abbreviations below, but here is an example:

SON HTIB, HTDDW700 800W = Sony 800 Watt Home Theater in Box Model HTDDW700.  Just punch in HTDDW700 on ebay and you will probably find it selling..

Erin,
I am real excited about this opportunity to make some serious cash on ebay. right now my first goal is to make an extra $600 a month. This is a joint effort my wife and I. I would like to sell books and she would like to sell ladies accesories like purses and hand bags. I have sold a few other types of items on ebay, but have a problem making any serious cash. One of my main problems is finding suppliers which allow me to make a profit. I have read most of your ebook stuff and am trying one action with the real estate book.

Look forward to your comments and suggestions.
