Hi Richard,

If I came up to you and said I had a better burger than McDonalds, does it mean I could sell it?

The fact is, anyone can make a better burger than McDonalds, but the fact remains that they sell more than anyone else.

The reason is because they know how to market.

This guy who sold 60 in one year appears to not know how to market.

Just because he can not sell it, doesn't mean anything.  All it says is he doesn't know how to sell.

The fact remains, an eBook on picking stocks, IF marketed right, would sell a ton.

I know, as I have seen people sell eBooks on this topic in great amounts..

THE POINT, though, is you do not have to write such an eBook.  All you do is buy one that has resell rights..

ALSO THE POINT is that the eBook doesn't even have to be spectacular.  What needs to be spectacular is your marketing..

SO, with eBooks, its all about marketing..

OTHER PRODUCTS:
Of course, if marketing isn't your thing, there is always name brand product..  Name brand product sells itself pretty well.

Dropshipping product is not name brand most of the time.  Further, most dropshipping companies use their sellers like selling servants..  They know that most of the money will be going to them and you will be lucky to make much of anything..

I have done studies on dropshipping and have tried it myself.  Most of the time only about 1/4 of the products are even sellable and generally do not yield too much profit..

HOW DO I GET NAME BRAND PRODUCT:
I buy it from warehouses that get chain store returns, overstock, etc..

I get it for about 25% of wholesale or about 15% to 20% of retail price..  I turn around and sell it on eBay for about half of retail..

Take for instance this auction..:

This is something I am selling currently.

I bought it for about $300 bucks..  It will likely sell for way over $600..  Probably in the $800 range..

I bought it as a return item from Sears..  It works perfectly..  75% of the items I buy in this format work great..

Usually, I don't like buying Plasmas, as there is risk.  LCDs are OK, but a bit risky for their size and potential of breaking.  But with just about any other product, it works out very great..  Vacuums, game consoles, PDAs, home theater systems, refridgerators, etc..

I bought from Genco Salvage Auctions..  http://www.genco.com/eb2b/

There are many companies like this one..

Sincerely
Tony

G'day Tony,

Thanks for the advice on the e book, have done a bit of research there
dosn't seem to be a lot of demand for this book, one guy who has done the
same homestudy course is selling a book which would have similliar content &
60 sales over 1 year, the rest are from overseas. The stuff on your internet
site has sparked an interest in starting an ebay shop and sourcing products
from drop shippers, do you know of reliable contacts in Australia ?

Thanks again

Richard
