Hi,

The 10 listing rule is pretty cool..

Meaning, you can have 10 listings of the exact same thing per "ebay site"..  So, on ebay UK, you can have 10 of any type of item listed at one time..

And by that, it doesn't even mean only 10 "total" items, as you can have say 4 items available per listing..  So, you could have 10 listings of the TV Projector kit up on www.ebay.co.uk with 4 available on each listing..

And you could do that over on www.ebay.ca, www.ebay.com, and www.ebay.com.au all at the same time..

So, I would not do this, but you could have 40 of the TV Projector kit up at one time in all 4 ebay sites with 4 available on each listing..

Believe it or not, I almost had that many up at on time..  But, I ACTUALLY knew what I was doing..

I have noticed some of my sellers have no clue what they are doing and keep using the same titles, same categories, same times, etc..

You need to diversify times, titles, categories..  Each categorie is like a niche..  Each title is like a keyword niche..  Even the gallery icons play into it..  All of them cover different ground..

SO, A GOOD WAY TO START:

Make a spreadsheet of various dropship items I have that you want to list..  Sort of a "week" spreadsheet where you have certain items going up certain days..

Then, plan out the categories for each item, the titles, etc..

I could then look over the spreadsheet, give you tips, timing, etc..

It sounds complex, but you said, you want to get your sales going right?

ALSO, one thing to factor in is NOT being in the categories that are saturated..  This is a little complex, as some categories are more relevant than others..

So, what I mean is in a simple way, when you are making the spreadsheet, check to see where your competition is listed on ebay..

If no one is, for instance, in www.ebay.co.uk, you have the WHOLE territory and can just do simple diversifcation with categories, titles, etc..

But, say in www.ebay.com, I am guessing there are multiple people listing my items..  There, you want to watch out for certain days, times and categories where they are all copying each other and avoid that time, category that day, etc..

Complex, I know..  But, if you start to make a spreadsheet and send me it, I can tell you what to change, what to do next, etc..  You know, just start to make one...  I can then guide you..  You don't have to finish it and send it to me, as then I would probably tell you to change many things..

Sincerely,

Anthony W.

Hi Anthony,

Yes I'm very much interested in setting up an effective sales strategy early
since its important for me to get up and running as soon as possible.
I would love to discuss what items to start out with and so on.
I much rather follow instructions(as much as possible) than do trial and error.

Yes, I will sell in both UK, Australia, and US etc since I'm only
allowed 10 auctions each simultaniously. (And "the more the
merrier"..)

I wonder, should I have only one same item at the same time? (10
different products?) -per area.
Or is it good with several of the same product just with different titles etc..
Should I make completely different ads and prices as well? Or is it
enough to have different categories, pictures etc..

Maybe you have all this in your guides (I'm still at my job and havent
been able to do my homework just yet, but I will go through it all
this weekend when I get more time- I plan to set up my first auctions
then as well)  Any specific thoughts on that?

I plan to do the  "150 TV Projector Kit" obviously - but what products
are the second, third and fourth best selling of your dropship
products? Any recommendations on that?

Would you like to see my own ads before I post them?

Also, what e-books is good to start with? Shall I apply the variety to
them as well?

Well, gotta go - but Thanks for now!

Andreas

B.T.W. I've set up my new Ebay account called "goodsofthenorth" (my
business is called Northern Goods) and I also created a new
mailadress:
northerngoods@aaaa.com which I will be using from now on with my
E-bay related business.
