Are you Interested in Generating Some Extra Cash?

Hi Steve,

It looks like you are learning some of the tricks of the trade already.

Yes, if you put less quantity, it can lower your listing costs..

I was wondering, are you putting these auctions at the top of the page, or just in normal fashion?  Are you bolding or bordering?  This will help me understand more to help you with your auctions.

Here are some other cool tips:

1. Don't start with an amount like 10, 20, 30, etc..  Rather, start with numbers like 8,9,18,19,28,29.  It looks like you might have sold one, so some people think it already has sold one. This ties into:

2. Lemming Factor - If someone bids/buys early on a dutch auction, you are far more likely to sell several by the end of the auction.

For instance, if you have 9 available and you sell one on day one, you could get say 4 sold by the end.

But, if you did not sell one until day 7, you will likely only sell 2, with the same ad, at the same time, everything identical.

Its the "lemming factor" where people follow other people.  One buys so the others assume it must be good and buy..  It adds weight to your sales..

3. If you can get good sales listing in normal fashion, often, you can take your auction to the top of the page and get ten times the sales..  But, you will have to pay $20 bucks to put it at the top of the page..  So, it maybe a little risky, but if its a good seller, you will be raking in the money..

Regarding dropshipping.  Often, you can make more money simply buying things on eBay and turning around and selling them on eBay..  The easiest is to buy more than one of an item and then turn around and sell them individually on eBay.

One of my more recent purchases I bought 50 PDA/Phones for only $500 and I have been selling them for $40 each..  So 50 x $40 = $2000.  I only paid $500 and will in the end make a lot of money off them.

hi,
actually first thing i discovered, was if i was selling an ebook for $2.50 say and listed it in auction with say 10 copies it cost about, 75 cents, if i listen like 3-5 (i just discovered this the other day) it cost 50 cents, and if i did what i was doing listing 100 it would cost around 2.50 or somthing
so listing about 3, made it cheaper, one book i sold about 6 in 17 days in inventory was called dirty secrets on ebay. maybe i could give it a different name(maybe you could come up with a catchy name, to get more people in to look.
but i did notice at the time when i sold 5 copies 55 people (now 6 and 76 views) looked so not a bad conversion rate, as i have learned.
but back to the book, maybe i could also add more ebay or similar books to value add it, and up the price.
anyway the link to that book is

one that i am selling now sold a few copies, over time this was before i learned to hot link pics and i didnt edit the template here
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&item=220008977008&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEUS%3AIT&rd=1

here is a physical product, this is from a place that has stuff at a reasonable discount but not cheap enough to make money on ebay, although i did have an item that did sell it was a JNC 20 GB mp3 player bassic lcd screen, sold 3 in a month then they ran out of stock(this was dropshiped)
the link below isnt the item i just spoke of.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&item=220007553331&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEUS%3AIT&rd=1

O'REILLY: All right, Lis ... I sell bibles in Tarzana, CA. Lenny comes in, & he's got a ... beard. He's wearing a dress ... I have to hire him?
LIS WIEHL: You can't not hire Lenny.
O'REILLY: Yes, but ... Don't you see my business point here? ... the state of Calif .. is forcing me to hire people that may be detrimental to my business.
LIS WIEHL: appearance shouldn't matter. When you're selling bibles.
O'REILLY: Ms. Rivers, you understand ... better than Lis because she went to Harvard Law School, and that disqualifies her from common sense.
