Are you Interested in Generating Some Extra Cash?

Hi.

If we are starting with ebay sales first, my next question is are you wanting to sell ebooks or physical product?

Or more accurately:

1. Digital items (services, ebooks, or domain names).
2. Physical items (name brand items, accessory and smaller items, etc).
3. A little of both, as I do.

While you are answering that, also keep in mind, you should sell both low priced and higher priced items.  The reason is because higher priced items bring home the bacon and the low priced even out the amounts coming in daily..

If you just sell high priced, you can days like the waves of the sea.  $500 day, $30 day, $300 day, etc..

With just low priced, it will be like $100, $80, $120, etc..

With both, you can get more of a higher evened out money coming in a day, more reliable for predicting cash flow..

Some comparisons of digital and physical product:

1. Digital items are more marketing intense.  You can make a lot if you know how to market or very little if you do not. I would say it is about 75% marketing.

2. With physical items that are brand name, on the other hand, its less marketing, as the name brand carries a lot of weight and there is already marketing which has been performed in the mind of the customer through branding. OF COURSE, if you are good at marketing, though, you can often get as much as 50% more in your price at sale.

3. I do not recommend selling non-branded items, UNLESS they are smaller items or are common items that people really do not care about the brand.  For instance, accessories for many electronics, people really do not care what the brand is.  Who really cares if a cord is made by Sony.  See what I mean?  Or, if its insanely cheap, the brand doesn't matter.  Generally, though, the only time you can get insanely cheap is if its a small item or accessory anways..

So, write back on what you would like to do with regards to the above, and we can go from there..

Hi Tony,
I think the Ebay sales first is the best way for starters. I need to generate some income first before getting serious about this website. I have a lot of information to absorb before I can be effective on the website. It will take time to learn how to develop it. I have a lot to learn, so lets get started. Let me know what you want to do first. Thanks,

O'REILLY: All right, Lis ... I sell bibles in Tarzana, CA. Lenny comes in, & he's got a ... beard. He's wearing a dress ... I have to hire him?
LIS WIEHL: You can't not hire Lenny.
O'REILLY: Yes, but ... Don't you see my business point here? ... the state of Calif .. is forcing me to hire people that may be detrimental to my business.
LIS WIEHL: appearance shouldn't matter. When you're selling bibles.
O'REILLY: Ms. Rivers, you understand ... better than Lis because she went to Harvard Law School, and that disqualifies her from common sense.
