Hi Curt,

You are correct regarding dropshippers..  I say the same thing here in the first paragraph:

I also explain the basics for finding product to sell on eBay..  I explain how to do it more directly here:

Look half way down the page at the google.com searches I show.. The keywords make all the difference in finding good sources of product..

The idea is to buy product that are either returns or overstock..  Returns are often what I buy..  You know, a TV was returned, it was missing the remote when returned, so they could not resell it, it was put on a pallet with a bunch of other similar product and THEN it is sold to you and I for about 30% of the wholesale price..

So, you can buy name brand product for 30% of wholesale..  You get pallets full at a time..  Each pallet can cost you $300 bucks or more..  Generally, you can resell it for double what you paid, from my experience of selling hundreds, if not a thousand of these products..

You can also buy off ebay and turn around and sell on eBay.. Actually, this is one of my more favorite ways..  I do both the salvage pallets and buying on ebay.

When buying on ebay look for "wholesale lots" of items..

Simply go to any main category on www.ebay.com, such as "DVDs" and then find the subcategory "Wholesale Lots". In there, you will find product in lots of 50, 100, you name it..
The trick is to not bid on the glamorous auctions at the top of the page, but the auction on the bottom that no one clicks on. Often, those are the real deals, where you can turn around and make a real profit selling each item individually..
Believe it or not, there are items ending all the time that are low priced.. This works well and can be a very profitable way to do business on eBay.

Sincerely
Tony

Hi Tony,

I got your e-mail this afternoon and am looking forward to getting started. My goal is to make eBay and the internet my full time income source.

I have been doing eBay for about 2 years now, much more so, though, in the last 6 - 12 months.

I have explored drop shipping and found it to be a waste of my time, for the most part, with most of the drop shippers selling their goods at prices equal to or above what some of the eBayers are selling them for.

I am extremely interested in E-Books and electronic/digital products, but I would also like to be able to sell tangible goods. I am hoping that you will be able to steer me in the right direction when it comes to finding reliable wholesalers and/or product suppliers.

I am ultra-experienced on the internet. I have been using it since around 1994 or so. I also do web design, etc., so I know what it takes to build a web site, optimize it for search engines, etc. I am a computer tech by trade.

As I said above, my goal is to make eBay and the internet my full-time source of income as soon as possible.

I will be looking over the material on your web site during the next 48 hours or so and then I will be back in touch with you for guidance/coaching to get me headed in the right direction.

Thanks,

Curt Snow

LIS WIEHL: You can't not hire Lenny.
O'REILLY: Yes, but ... Don't you see my business point here? ... the state of Calif .. is forcing me to hire people that may be detrimental to my business.
LIS WIEHL: appearance shouldn't matter. When you're selling bibles.
